Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I am in-network with many insurance plans under Highmark, IBX, Aetna, United Healthcare, and Cigna. I'll contact your insurance company on your behalf before our first session to get an understanding of what your plan covers. I'll review this information with you prior to our first session.
Where are sessions held?
Sessions are held via a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform called Kalix Health. This is also the platform you'll use to schedule appointments and receive reminders. A reliable Wi-Fi connection is recommended for the best telehealth experience. You do not need to download the program. You may complete visits on a computer, tablet, or cell phone!
Are you the right dietitian for me?
My primary areas of focus are weight management, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), prediabetes, and bariatric surgery nutrition.

I'm happy to discuss your individual needs and medical diagnoses prior to our first appointment to see if we're a good match. I will strive to connect you with another dietitian who accepts insurance if my skillset isn't a great fit or if I do not participate with your insurance plan.
What if my insurance doesn't cover nutrition counseling?
Insurance coverage for medical nutrition therapy has improved over the years but some plans are still without coverage. I offer discounted cash payment rates and multisession packages if you do not have insurance coverage for medical nutrition therapy or if you decide to continue our work together beyond what your insurance covers.
